Born and raised in Porirua, Tumarangai is of Ngāti Kahungunu, Kāi Tahu, and Ngāti Raukawa descent, while Acushla, raised in Taranaki, belongs to Ngāruahinerangi, Ngāti Ruanui, and Te Āti Awa.
With over 40 years of living across Wellington, our love and deep connection to this city run strong. Creating a space in its heart was driven by two intentions: to provide a warm, nurturing retreat for those who appreciate art and culture, and to ensure our whānau always have a place to call home when they visit.
Now, we are delighted to share this space with others seeking a sanctuary—somewhere to rest, recharge, and enjoy.
